John M. Frazier, Jr. is a partner at Widerman Malek, PL that focuses on delivering a full range of litigation in both state and federal courts; including the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States as well as acting in advisory capacities for businesses and corporations reviewing contracts, documents, and providing legal feedback to aid and assist decision-makers.
His area of practice includes corporate litigation and transactions, complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation and transactions, business representation, and maritime law.
John has been a keynote speaker educating the public on the law and presenting before chambers of commerce, business leaders, rotary clubs, and as a keynote speaker on behalf of the Florida Bar’s Speaker Bureau in front of a county bar association ranging in topics from litigation, discovery practices, and conducting depositions.
John has been featured by the Melbourne Regional Chamber on their podcast, 411 on the 321: Tales, Tenets, and Tips from Space Coast Business Leaders, in Season 3, Episode 8.
John is driven by his passion to be a leader in the community and in the courtroom, so much so that John is a graduate of the Leadership Brevard Class of 2020; a program founded in 1985 to develop Brevard’s top talent positioned to utilize leadership skills for the long-term benefit of the community.
John is an officer and acting legal counsel for Downtown Melbourne/Melbourne Main Street.
In 2022, John was appointed to serve on the Business Advisory Board of the City of West Melbourne.
Outside of the law and philanthropic activities, John enjoys fishing, golfing, cooking (ask him about his BBQ sauce), technology, his family pets, and rooting for the Florida State Seminoles. However, more than anything else, John is motivated by his “why” which consists of his beautiful wife, Courtney, and their family.

- Activities: In 2022, John was appointed to serve on the Business Advisory Board of the City of West Melbourne. The board was established in 2009 to advise the City Council on how the City can implement measures that will promote, improve, and meet the needs of commercial establishments. This includes determining the commercial needs of citizens and businesses, surveying existing businesses, inventory of vacant commercial land and buildings, and recommending methods to enhance and promote business activity.
