John Nelson
Nelson Cyber Law, PLLC
John Nelson is the President of Nelson Cyber Law and focuses in litigating intellectual property disputes in federal court. With a background in computer science, John brings a technical perspective to cyber law, where the internet meets the law, so he can speak the language of tech-savvy clients and guide every client through legal mazes in the modern world.
In short, John is a law geek who loves the battle—harnessing his passion for the abstract concepts and details of intellectual property to analytically apply them to court procedures—so each client may protect and enforce their rights to achieve their goals. This "litigator's eye" also proves useful for drafting and analyzing contracts; seeing and heading off potential disputes to avoid future litigation and help ensure your contracts are carried out as smoothly as possible.
Whether a legal issue is big or small, it can be confusing and stressful. John personally engages with each client to understand and alleviate frustration and provide clarity from confusion in a comfortable atmosphere. Honesty, communication, diligence, and professionalism are the driving force behind John's results-focused approach.
Raised in Savannah, Georgia, John now lives in the Tampa Bay area, where he and his wife Sarah have two cats that refuse to stop nibbling on the house plants.
