Attorney John-Patrick Mullen-Lujan grew up in vibrant Miami, Florida, where he encountered people from all walks of life and learned to develop genuine connections in diverse communities. As the son of an Argentinian immigrant, Attorney Mullen-Lujan recognizes the struggles many Americans face in navigating our complex criminal justice system. Attorney Mullen-Lujan believes everyone deserves to have their rights protected by someone who cares about them.
Attorney Mullen-Lujan attended Pennsylvania State University where he obtained a joint Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and American Studies. In 2017, he received a Master of Science degree in American studies.
In search of warmer weather, Attorney Mullen-Lujan moved to California where he attended Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law. While attending law school, he focused his studies in the area of criminal law, obtaining multiple CALI awards in criminal procedure and criminal litigation, and completing the prestigious Criminal Law Emphasis Program. Additionally, while studying as a full-time student, Attorney Mullen-Lujan was hired by distinguished professor Lawrence Rosenthal as a criminal law teaching fellow to assist in the educational development of first-year law students at the Fowler School of Law.
Upon graduating law school, Attorney Mullen-Lujan immediately entered the practice of law as an associate attorney at one of the most experienced criminal defense firms in Orange County, CA. In that position, he was tasked with handling both misdemeanor and felony matters throughout Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego. Armed with the knowledge and experience he obtained in his position as an associate criminal defense attorney, Attorney Mullen-Lujan decided to open his own practice of law.

- A: It is a violation of the law to send intimate/nude photos and videos to someone when the person sending the images is under the age of 18 years old because it is considered "child pornography". That said, this kind of violation generally goes unfiled. It is more common that a person who receives, elicited, or further distributed the image will be charged with distributing or eliciting child pornography, especially if the person is over the age of 18 and the person depicted in the image was UNDER the age of 18.
