John S Brandte
I come to the practice of law later in life. Shortly before I attended Law School, I came to realize that some people who a very close family member trusted were not acting in his best interest. In protecting him, I got to work with some first-rate attorneys in both New Hampshire and Florida. As I learned more and more about the situation, I realized that a good and forthright Estate Attorney could have protected him, and at the same time, made sure things worked exactly as he wanted. As we talked, it was decided that I would become an attorney and do for others what a proper attorney should have done for him. So, after wanting to become an attorney since I was a little boy, almost doing it a couple of times in the past, but thinking it was too late, my Father made it happen.
Prior to becoming an attorney, I was in the high-tech communications world. Starting out in corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, I eventually covered marketing, business development and general management.
My practice focuses on estate planning that brings peace of mind now, and protects your assets as well as your beneficiaries after you pass. It also focuses on the protection of the elderly should they become victims of predators. I also participate in the DOVE program that provides pro bono legal support for victims of domestic violence.
In addition to my private practice, I serve on the New Hampshire Adult Parole Board.
My personal life is filled with family and friends, active church membership, participating in prison ministry, reading, writing, cooking, woodworking and thinking ????
