Joseph Douglas Nakos
Nakos and Nakos, Attorneys at Law
Joseph Nakos has been an attorney in the State of California since 2012, focusing exclusively in Family Law. Mr. Nakos has represented Family Law clients in the State of California and has appeared at hearings and trials at courthouses located in Ventura, Los Angeles, and Kern counties. Many of his cases have been high dollar cases involving such issues as business evaluations, forensic accounting analysis, custody evaluations, complex financial tracing, complex property divisions, and psychological evaluations. And, Mr. Nakos also appreciates the needs of clients with less complicated cases.
Mr. Nakos’ approach to all of his cases starts with an in depth analysis of his client’s needs, their children’s needs, the financial needs of his clients, and the overall layout of the client’s standard of living. Once all pertinent detailed information is compiled, Mr. Nakos fits the client’s profile into all of the Family Law statutes to get his clients everything they are entitled to by law. Mr. Nakos tries to settle the case before any Court appearances have taken place and when settlement is not possible Mr. Nakos aggressively represents his clients at all hearings and trials.
Mr. Nakos always keeps the best interests of his clients in mind and these best interests are the prime driving force for Mr. Nakos. Mr. Nakos fights for the rights of his clients from the start of the case until the case is ruled upon by the Courts.
Mr. Nakos is highly educated, well spoken, and is savvy when it comes to presenting his client’s case to both the opposing counsel and to the Court.
Mr. Nakos holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of La Verne School of Law, a PhD in Business Organization from Capella University, a Masters of Arts Degree in Sociology - Organizational Structure from California State University Northridge, and a Bachelors of Science Degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
