Joshua R. Lastine

Lastine’s experience in Studio business and legal affairs includes positions with ViacomCBS, Lions Gate, Marvel Studios, Starz, Discovery Studios, and Creative Artists Agency. He began his career as a legal intern on American Idol.

In his representations, Lastine structures, negotiates, and drafts contracts and paperwork on behalf of entertainment talent clientele, including rights acquisitions, development/production deals, branding/commercial advertising deals, talent deals, and other contracts for new media, social media, and the Internet 3.0.

Lastine also represents a number of animation studios, and celebrity/influencer talent.

A proud native son of Iowa, Joshua headed West with his B.A. in economics from the University of Northern Iowa to take on Hollywood.
