Ms. Williams is a 2006 UCLA School of Law graduate and Superlawyer Rising Star from 2015-2019. Ms. Williams has also attended the University of San Diego LLM program, and will obtain her LLM in May 2019. Ms. Williams began her legal career in complex litigation, with an emphasis corporate matters. After over a decade of litigation practice, Ms. Williams determined that her legal skills were best used helping people and businesses plan for the future.
Ms. Williams provides formation, restructuring, and general counsel services to small- and mid-sized businesses. Through her time in litigation, Ms. Williams has come to believe that much litigation can be avoided through advice and implementation on best practices. With her breadth of litigation experience, Ms. Williams can help small and mid-sized companies develop strategies and implement best practices to avoid and/or minimize the impact of litigation or business disputes. Ms. Williams also performs general compliance advice to ensure companies are satisfying required reporting and informational requirements.
Ms. Williams also works with her clients to create comprehensive estate planning documents that meet both their immediate and future needs. She has a broad range of experience including wills, revocable living trusts, family business entity planning, and irrevocable trusts including personal residence trusts and special needs trusts. Ms. Williams is focused on protecting family assets through design of sophisticated plans. Ms. Williams also forms nonprofits and charitable foundations, and assists with reporting and tax compliance. Finally, Ms. Williams routinely performs trust administration and probate services for clients in her estate planning practice.
