Mr. Vaughan helps clients to identify, register, license, or transfer their own intellectual property; he also counsels clients on avoiding liability for infringement of others’ rights. Whenever conflict arises, Mr. Vaughan offers his clients a number of tools to achieve a cost-effective and desirable resolution. Having participated in mediations both as a party and as a trained mediator, Mr. Vaughan can help his clients negotiate favorable settlements. Should settlement talks fail, he can also vigorously pursue or defend litigation on his clients’ behalf. Additionally, Mr. Vaughan provides low-cost, basic estate planning services to low- and middle-income individuals or families.

Contigent fee arrangements are available for certain copyright infringement clients. I also offer mixed fee arrangements (part contingent fee + reduced hourly fee). Typically, client will be responsible for covering upfront costs, including court costs, filing fees, travel and accomodations.
