Karen Shrira Steinitz

Karen Dena Shrira Steinitz attended University of California San Diego where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Honors, in Political Science in 1997. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate degree at Loyola University of Los Angeles in 2001.
In the early stages of her legal career, Ms. Steinitz represented employers, insurance companies, and self-insured entities. She gained extensive experience with the handling of complex litigation cases involving high exposure, multiple defendants, 132(a) discrimination claims as well as serious and willful misconduct allegations.
Since joining the law firm of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos in 2012, she has decided to devote her practice to advocating for the rights of injured workers. She is a spokesperson for injured workers vigorously represents her clients. Ms. Steinitz’s skill and understanding in both defense law and representing injured workers has equipped her with a unique perspective on all phases of case handling. She has extensive experience going to trial, settling cases, deposing expert witnesses, and representing clients in arbitrations and mediations. Her experience also includes a range of issues including catastrophic accidents, employment discrimination, and third party disputes.
Ms. Steinitz is also an active member of the California Applicant Attorneys’ Association (CAAA), a statewide association of attorneys representing injured workers.
