During college, she was involved in several extracurricular activities, including Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Dean’s Undergraduate Student Advisory Council, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and other honors societies.
Katie subsequently attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as a Law Student Ambassador, Law Student Advisor, and member of the Class Gift Committee. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence with an Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Concentration in 2014.
Although primarily focusing on general civil litigation, Katie has a diverse practice. With a primary focus on insurance defense and torts, Katie litigates a variety of other areas, including real estate, personal injury, and landlord/tenant disputes.

Her outgoing, kind, and approachable nature has equipped Katie to put clients at ease, while successfully representing them in court. She values the opportunity to advocate for her clients efficiently and effectively at every stage in the litigation process. She received the Avvo Clients’ Choice Award in 2019 for being a top-rated and highly reviewed attorney.
