Kevin handled complex criminal litigation involving sex crimes, domestic violence, financial and computer crimes, and military specific offenses. - Conduct complex legal research, analysis, and write for appellate court judges who are senior field grade officers and experts in military justice. - Review multi-volume records of trial from across the Navy and Marine Corps, examining cases for factual sufficiency and legal error. - Research and analyze new questions of law, synthesize and present the information to the court, and assist the court's consideration of complicated issues. - Draft appellate court opinions addressing possible errors in trial court convictions. - Ensure that necessary motions are addressed in a chambers conference in accordance with the court rules and plan those conferences. - Assist the Senior Law Clerk with administrative assignments.
