Kevin T. Hardy
Hardy Law Firm, LLC
Kevin Hardy is an estate planning, probate, and business law attorney in Lexington, South Carolina. He serves clients in Lexington, West Columbia, Irmo, Columbia, Gilbert, and beyond. He worked for several years as a staff accountant in the semiconductor industry before pursuing his law career at the University of South Carolina. Upon graduating from USC, he clerked for Judge Ralph King Anderson, Jr. at the South Carolina Court of Appeals in Florence.
Kevin’s practice focuses on helping clients with the preparation of wills, living wills, trusts, health care powers of attorney, and durable powers of attorney. This enables clients to rest securely knowing that their wishes will be carried out upon their death or disability. Kevin serves estate planning clients throughout Richland, Lexington, Sumter, Fairfield, and Kershaw Counties. Kevin also assists people with the transfer of assets after a loved one has passed away—a process known as probate that is supervised by the court. Finally, Kevin advises aspiring business owners about the formation of LLCs and corporations along with providing advice and guidance on legal matters affecting new and existing small businesses.
Kevin, his wife Cara, and their daughter live in Lexington. Kevin has prepared wills and other estate planning documents for first responders as a volunteer with the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer’s Division and occasionally can be seen on television answering callers’ questions with the South Carolina Bar’s Ask-a-Lawyer program.
