Kristin Matsko
Ms. Matsko concentrates her practice on estate planning and probate administration in Rhode Island and Massachusetts with substantial experience in elder law, corporate law and real estate transactions. She works with individuals and families to create an estate plan that is tailored to each client's unique financial and family situation to accomplish the clientâs future goals relative to the transfer of wealth to desired beneficiaries and future generations.
Ms. Matsko advises fiduciaries during the probate and estate administration process, handles probate court appearances and works with insurance companies, investment companies and other entities on behalf of estate and trust fiduciaries to facilitate prompt and efficient administration of claims and benefits. She represents fiduciaries in probate and trust court proceedings involving fiduciary liability issues, trust reformation, will contests, petitions for minimization of taxes and other general trust/estate administration matters in conjunction with attorneys in the Firmâs Litigation Group.
Ms. Matsko is a frequent speaker on various matters including estate and gift tax planning strategies, the importance of personal planning for new parents and non-traditional families, and fiduciary duties and obligations.
