Kyle's journey into the legal realm began at a young age when he participated in a mock trial as a fifth grader. This event, organized by Lewis & Clark law school students and held in the Clackamas County Courthouse, left a lasting impression on him, fueling his aspirations to become an attorney. His dedication to community service and helping others was nurtured through his involvement as an Eagle Scout, instilling in him values of respect, compassion, and kindness.
Kyle proudly holds two degrees from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. He earned his bachelor's degree in history before pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at the Willamette University College of Law, where he graduated in the top 25% of his class.
Launching his professional career as a Deputy District Attorney, Kyle handled a diverse array of criminal cases, including a significant number of DUII cases. His responsibilities ranged from charging cases and negotiating plea deals to presenting felony cases to the Grand Jury. He also played a crucial role in reviewing search warrants, providing on-call guidance to law enforcement officers in the field, and independently conducting criminal investigations in collaboration with law enforcement agencies.
These multifaceted experiences uniquely equip Kyle to offer our clients comprehensive and expert legal counsel. His ability to swiftly assess the strengths and weaknesses of any case, combined with his background in investigation, negotiation, and courtroom representation, allows him to approach our clients' cases with innovative problem-solving strategies. Beyond his role as a legal advisor, Kyle's primary objective is to guide our clients through what can be an intimidating period in their lives, ensuring they emerge from it stronger and more secure.
