Larry Steven Hayman

Larry S. Hayman is a Principal and Founder of Hayman Law, LLC and is admitted to practice law before all state courts and agencies in the State of Ohio as well as before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He has significant litigation experience in a wide variety of forums across the state. Indeed, Mr. Hayman has successfully tried cases in court, presented cases on appeal, and represented clients in numerous adminstrative proceedings before, among others, the Ohio Elections Commission, the Ohio Department of Education, State Employment Relations Board, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Additionally, Mr. Hayman has presented legal seminars to school administrators and attorneys as well as authored published articles in the area of school law.
He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the Union County Bar Association, and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
In addition to his legal practice, he serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Political Science at Ohio University every spring, teaching a course on The Politics of Law.
Larry was born in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Ohio University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, having earned the highest grade point average in the Political Science Department.
He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Hayman served as an Editor on the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, received a CALI Award for Excellence for obtaining a perfect score in his legal seminar, and graduated in the top 10% of his class.
Mr. Hayman currently resides in Harrison West. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, and current events.
