Lawrence Fulton King J.D.
Divorce Resolutions, LLC (Colorado Center for Divorce Mediation)His life’s work and passion, Mr. King has limited his professional practice, Divorce Resolutions®, LLC, to full-time mediation of divorce and family law related disputes for more than 23 years, having mediated divorces and parenting matters of more than 3,000 Colorado couples. A summa cum laude graduate of Colorado College, member of the University of California Davis law review and a judicial law clerk for the Colorado Court of Appeals, Larry toured through public law serving as a Chief Deputy District Attorney, and Municipal Court Judge before founding his private family law practice and ultimately his mediation practice. A founding member of the Academy of Professional Mediators and designated a Professional Mediator by the Colorado Mediation Association, Mr. King’s practice emphasizes mediation of complex financial divorce estates, and he is known as an innovator of the use of practice tools modeling planning and settlement options, including pioneering use of large screen panels and long distance virtual - remote participation in alternative dispute resolution. Mr. King is a frequent lecturer on the topics of mediation, and mediation practice and technology, having presented workshops at national conventions of the Academy of Family Mediators (AFM), Family Mediation Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), and Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM) and numerous state and county divorce attorney, family lawyer and mediation associations.
