Lawrence P. Hellmann

A former president of the National Congress for Fathers & Children, attorney Lawrence Hellmann is an unapologetic family man with a zeal for cases involving child custody, visitation rights and paternity issues. Lawrence also provides extensive California Supreme Court experience. Lawrence has worked on legal teams reaching the state Supreme Court.

A popular media figure, Mr. Hellmann has spoken about child custody on Good Morning America and The Today Show. Mr. Hellmann has also contributed to Fox News specials regarding children’s rights under the Geneva Conventions for those living abroad. Mr. Hellmann has been interviewed on the air by television personalities such as Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Patrick Buchanan and Bill Press. He has served as a consultant to several other productions on issues such as child custody and child support.

Mr. Hellmann has testified before the California Senate Judicial Committee on issues concerning child custody and paternity fraud. He co-authored the legal section of “Parental Alienation, DSM-V, and ICD-11,” published in 2010 and reviewed in U.S. News & World Report.

Mr. Hellmann has extensive experience with matters involving child custody, visitation, support, paternity issues and marital property rights, including high conflict custody cases.
