Biography

Although my firm practices in several different fields of law, my expertise is primarily in Mortgage Foreclosure Defense,Divorce & Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Mortgage loan modification. In terms of divorce law, I have a unique prospective from both my personal and professional experience that few other attorneys can match. To me, each case is personal, each client is a person, never just a file number.

Legal Answers
Q. Is foreclosure legal after tax certificate redemption before filing?
A: Unless you have a consultation with an experienced mortgage foreclosure defense attorney, it is impossible to know if you are correctly stating what the legal pleading you received actually is. If the two year redemption period has ended then it was too late to redeem the tax lien certificate. Pick the best attorney you can find and remember one rule: a good attorney is generally never cheap, and a cheap attorney is generally never good so don't choose based on price. With modern technology, you can be represented by any high-quality attorney in New Jersey irrespective of geography.
Q. Can a simple assault domestic violence charge be dropped?
A: Yes it can, however you need to retain an experienced matrimonial attorney with extensive domestic violence trial experience. If the person whom you filed the charge against, that person should retain an experienced criminal defense attorney and I can certainly recommend one. However, unlike with me, the person who needs the criminal defense attorney will have to go to that person's office. In determining your choice of an attorney, there are many factors to consider, including but not limited to and you should look at how the attorney is ranked on AVVO all-time nationwide. You should also consider the attorney's reviews. Q. How to settle deceased brother's credit card debt in NJ with no will?
A: I am sorry that you lost your brother. Probate is not a simple process and you are emotionally involved and not a trained attorney. They advise attorneys not to represent themselves. You need to be represented by a Probate attorney. The Estate, not the heirs are responsible for the descendant's debts.
