Claimed Lawyer ProfileQ&A
Biography
Although my firm practices in several different fields of law, my expertise is primarily in Mortgage Foreclosure Defense,Divorce & Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Mortgage loan modification. In terms of divorce law, I have a unique prospective from both my personal and professional experience that few other attorneys can match. To me, each case is personal, each client is a person, never just a file number.

- Q. Do I need to comply with child protection services drug screen request in NJ related to girlfriend's domestic dispute
- A: Even if you did not get a written notice, unless you think the phone call was fake (usually I would expect something in writing. But if you are in doubt, then call CPS and ask. If you have nothing to hide take the test. If you do at some point find yourself involved in a domestic violence situation, then you will need to retain an experienced matrimonial attorney with extensive domestic violence trial experience. Not appearing could draw negative inferences by some people. You should not go into any more detail about the past about any experiences related to the domestic violence incident. Pick the best attorney you can find and remember one rule: a good attorney is generally never cheap, and ... Read More
- Q. Can I request removal and reimbursement for a delayed solar panel project?
- A: You need to retain an experienced civil litigation attorney. I have successfully handled a significant number of these cases. The typical situation is that one company sells the solar panels and a different company installs them. Realistically the average Defendant Solar panel company that sells the solar panels, not only uses very high pressure sales tactics, but also damages the existing roof when the solar panels are installed. Not all damages will be obvious and in the typical case, the companies violate the New Jersey Home Improvement Contract Act, the Statute of Frauds, and most importantly the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, which provides for triple damages plus attorney fees. You should ... Read More
- Q. Can I get a restraining order against my son's father and grandmother after they harmed my son?
- A: You can certainly press criminal charges against both parties. Whether or not you can obtain a restraining order against the grandmother requires more facts. You may be able to obtain a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) on your own. Then if you get the TRO, you will need to retain an experienced matrimonial attorney to represent you in seeking a Final Restraining Order. Pick the best attorney you can find and remember one rule: a good attorney is generally never cheap, and a cheap attorney is generally never good so don't choose based on price. With modern technology, you can be represented by any high-quality attorney in New Jersey irrespective of geography.
