Biography
Although my firm practices in several different fields of law, my expertise is primarily in Mortgage Foreclosure Defense,Divorce & Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Mortgage loan modification. In terms of divorce law, I have a unique prospective from both my personal and professional experience that few other attorneys can match. To me, each case is personal, each client is a person, never just a file number.

Legal Answers
- Q. My auntie defaulted on her mortgage and have not paid for the past 10 years while a judicial foreclosure case is ongoing
- A: To determine your aunt's situation she needs to at least consult with an experienced HI mortgage foreclosure defense attorney to evaluate the situation. THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE! YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO AN ATTORNEY WHO IS LICENSED IN YOUR STATE FOR LEGAL ADVICE. This is merely suggestions for you to think about in discussing your situation with the local attorney.
- Q. Is it a bad idea to switch to another lawyer after divorce to file a QDRO? How is that done or can you do it on your own
- A: Most attorneys will not draft a QDRO, but rather will retain an experienced expert to prepare it. Whether or not you should change attorneys, is a personal decision. But at this point, a new attorney may be reluctant to take the case. You should try to work things out with your current attorney. Good luck.
- Q. Do I need to file bankrupsy chapter 7 . Single dont own anything unfortunately. On ssd. Have a personal loan
- A: The best and safest way to proceed is to file an Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. You will be able to get a fresh start and rebuild your credit after you receive your discharge in Bankruptcy. If you cannot afford an attorney contact legal aid. Good luck.
