Lisa Ann Kopelman

Lisa Kopelman has been a practicing criminal defense attorney for more than 30 years and has taken over 100 cases to jury trial. After graduating Suffolk University Law School in Boston, she moved to California with her husband to practice criminal law here. She worked for the Orange County Public Defender's Office where she developed an expertise in handling the most serious cases. Her practice focuses on murder, violent and serious felonies.

While at the public defender’s office Ms. Kopelman worked in every branch court in Orange County as well as at the main court house in Santa Ana. As a result, she has come to know most of the judges and prosecutors in the county. Additionally, she handled many of the office’s most serious cases including sex offenses, gang cases, assaults, violent offense and capital murder cases.
