Lise M. Spresser

Lise Spresser focuses her entire practice on all aspects of family law, with over a decade of practice before the Circuit Court Family bench in Oakland, Lapeer, Macomb, Genesee, Wayne and St. Clair. Her goal is to educate, support and passionately advocate for her clients while helping them navigate through the difficult legal process.

Lise earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, where she received top accolades in the Legal Studies Program. Lise is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and has been recognized as a Top Lawyer in the field of Family Law by dbusiness. She was ranked one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in Michigan by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys and has also received awards from Lawyers of Distinction and The Best Lawyers in America.

More important than her accolades, Lise is a parent and a business owner. She truly understands the practical challenges faced by her clients and blends legal strategy with common sense when approaching the issues in each case.

Lise recognizes the importance of continuing education in this ever-evolving area of law. She guest lectures for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and attends a multitude of advanced level training seminars to stay on the cutting edge in her field. She served as a member of the Oakland County Citizens Advisory Committee and she gives back to the community as a Fellow of the Oakland County Bar Association. She has also handled a number of pro bono matters for low-income clients each year.
