Luke is a career Criminal Defense Attorney in the State of Maryland having practiced criminal defense since 1997, after receiving a Bachelor from Reed College and a JD from Northwestern School of Law. He started his career as a DOJ law clerk for the landmark racketeering case against the tobacco industry, while serving as a JAG officer in the US Army Reserves. Luke has built a reputation in quickly identifying and doggedly pursuing the defenses in his client's cases, with broad knowledge and experience in all levels of felony and misdemeanors in District, Circuit and Juvenile, including DUI and traffic offenses, from simple theft and trespassing in District to manslaughter and murder in Circuit, including all levels of drug offenses, gun related offenses, violent offenses, burglary, and sex offenses. In January of 2022, Luke formed FrizWoods, LLC, to cater to individual clients in need of criminal or juvenile defense who want an accessible knowledgeable attorney in their corner.
