Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich
Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich chairs the firm’s family law department. She and her husband/law partner Walt Lesnevich (personal injury and medical malpractice law) founded Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, O’Cathain & O’Cathain, LLC. Madeline has focused her practice on complex matrimonial law representing high net worth individuals, business owners, professional athletes, CEO’s and the spouses of those individuals. She is also known for her expertise in high-conflict and relocation custody matters.
Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich is currently Immediate Past President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, having served as the national organization’s President during her 2017 – 2018 term. The Academy’s stated mission is to, ‘promote professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.’ Additionally, Madeline is a former President of the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML, as well as a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. She was elected a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers whose membership is limited to only 100 family law trial lawyers throughout the country. Madeline is the first, and only, female Diplomate in New Jersey.
Madeline is the 2015 Recipient of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section’s Saul R. Tischler Award, for her lifetime contribution to family law. Madeline is also the 2016 recipient of the AAML New Jersey Chapter Fellow of the Year Award. She enjoys a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent, indicating that her peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence.
Recognized as a Super Lawyer since the inception of the designation, Madeline recently became a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Madeline is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a specialist in Matrimonial Law.
