Madison Libby
Dedicated to getting the best possible outcomes for injured clients.
When she was younger, Madison Libby had dreams of becoming a high school band director and she even started college as a music major. But those plans changed after she developed an interest in politics and landed a summer internship at a family law firm in her hometown.
She soon switched her major to political science with a concentration in pre-law -- decisions that would eventually lead her to law school and to the Deuterman Law Group.
Madison began working at DLG as a law clerk after her first year at Elon University School of Law. She clerked in the personal injury and workers’ compensation departments, gaining valuable experience working one-on-one with attorneys and clients.
After law school graduation and admission to the bar, she joined the firm’s personal injury department as an associate attorney in the Greensboro office.
She is dedicated to getting the best possible outcomes for her injured clients and helping them through these challenging times in their lives.
Madison earned her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
At Elon, she was a Presidential Scholarship recipient, secretary for the Intellectual Property Society, and a volunteer with the Innocence Project.
Previously, she worked as a research assistant for Professor David Levine, focusing on intellectual property law and contracts. She also worked for Strentz and Greene, PLC, a family law firm in her hometown of Fredericksburg, VA.
As an undergrad at UNCG, Madison was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and president of the Legal Professions Association. She was also heavily involved in the pep band and loved showing her support for the UNCG basketball and volleyball teams.
She lives in Greensboro with her boyfriend, Matt, and their two cats, Onion and Parsnip.
