Maggie Simoneaux-Cuaso
Maggie Simoneaux earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with minors in Economics and Spanish from the University of New Orleans in 2003. She was awarded her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Western State College of Law in 2008. During law school, she served as the Year in Review Editor for the Western State College of Law Law Review and graduated in the top five percent of her class. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2008 and the Louisiana State Bar in 2009. Maggie is admitted to practice in all state courts of California and Louisiana, as well as, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Eastern District of Louisiana. Prior to committing her practice exclusively to family law, Maggie experienced tremendous success as a civil litigator representing clients in ERISA, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and class action cases. Maggie has successfully represented clients at trial, mediation and binding arbitration where her clients received settlements and/or verdicts in excess of one million dollars. It was Maggie’s experience representing her then supervising attorney in his divorce that solidified Maggie’s commitment to dedicate her practice entirely to family law. Maggie recognized a need for dedicated, responsive, and zealous representation on behalf of family litigants. Since dedicating her practice exclusively to family law, Maggie has delivered aggressive representation and outstanding results on behalf of her clients throughout Southern California in complex matters such as child custody, child support, spousal support, community estate division, and domestic violence. Maggie also handles guardianships and adoptions. Maggie is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, The Orange County bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Section.
