Marcya Betts

Marcya N. Betts is one of the founders and members of Darden Betts Strategic Intellectual Property Counselors, an IP law firm specializing in the strategic use of intellectual property. Owning intellectual property is not just about acquiring rights to trademarks, inventions, and creative works but also using those assets to drive company missions and create value.

Prior to forming Darden Betts, Marcya worked for the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Trademark Examining Attorney and has extensive experience in managing and resolving substantive and procedural issues pertaining to trademark prosecution.
