Summary

My goal is to make it more convenient, comfortable, personal, and straightforward to work with a lawyer. I work with busy professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and parents who want protection, peace of mind, and convenience, including local, out-of-state, and international clients with California legal needs. I leverage modern technology to make legal services easier to obtain, more comfortable, and less time-consuming, without sacrificing quality. At the same time, I take an old-fashioned approach to legal counsel. I want to be your trusted legal advisor, and that means earning your trust. Hiring a lawyer doesn’t have to be intimidating or outrageously expensive. Trust and open communication between you and your lawyer are essential. I take pride in being approachable, real, and available to my clients. I value integrity, trust, great service, peace of mind, and sustainability. If you share these values, contact me today! I look forward to speaking with you.

My office is virtual. So what does that mean for you? Simply put: more options. Sometimes a face to face meeting is great. I provide options for where that meeting takes place. And if a quick email or phone call will do, there's no need to fight traffic or miss work to visit me. I take advantage of all that technology has to offer in order to bring the law office to you. Result: you get high-quality legal representation without the inconvenience of a high-priced downtown law office and the traffic and parking nightmares that go with it. You can do your banking online; work with colleagues across the country; get an education online; why should your lawyer be any different? Whether you're a busy professional, work long hours, have young kids at home, or simply want to spend less time on the road and more time on what matters, my virtual law office is here to help.

I will be speaking on the current state of California and federal law as it relates to LGBT rights, including the potential impact of the Perry (Prop 8) and Windsor (DOMA) cases currently before the U.S. Supreme Court. California currently allows registered domestic partnerships, but not same-sex marriage. How does that affect your rights and your taxes? How might they change next month? I will also discuss some simple things you can do to better protect yourself and your family, especially in the area of estate planning.
