Mark J. Mahoney
Mark J Mahoney Is a Past President of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was elected to two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has received "Outstanding Lawyer" Awards from the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Association of criminal Defense lawyers, and the New York state defenders Association. He has been asked to lecture to criminal defense lawyers on a wide range of topics involving criminal law across the United States and in Canada. He has a history of milestone achievements in defending criminal cases. From the serial murder case of the "22 caliber killer" in 1980, through the acquittal of his client in the 2004 "Adelphia" case, a 6-month trial in Manhattan, he has defended tough criminal cases at the highest level. His firm of Harrington & Mahoney Is nationally known and at the top tier of criminal defense. Currently Mr. Mahoney is the only attorney in the world who specializes in and has had extraordinary success in defending individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
