Mary Musselman
Mary grew up on the edge of the Mississippi Delta, in Panola County. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2019 with a degree in legal studies, and then from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2022. The Mississippi native’s first time ever visiting Arkansas was for an interview with wh Law the semester before she graduated law school, and after spending a total of 18 hours in the city, she knew she was home and set her sights on Little Rock.
Since she was little, Mary’s goal in life has been to help people, and she chose to go to law school because she saw a unique opportunity to do that through the legal field. While in college, she worked at North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, and in law school, worked at Bobby Taylor Vance Law Office. She worked on a variety of cases with people of every kind, but she ultimately found a love of family law. She saw that the best way for her to serve others was to start at home with them. Her favorite part of working in family law is being able to say, “it’s going to be okay; we’re going to do everything we can to help you with this.”
After work, you can usually find Mary at home crocheting, watching True Crime documentaries, or playing video games while her cats, Zeke and Levi, fight for space on her lap. On the weekends, she’s out exploring the city. She especially enjoys the Little Rock Zoo and Traveler’s games on Saturday evenings with her boyfriend, Connar. Some Sunday mornings you can find her at the First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Little Rock. When she’s not out discovering all that The Rock has to offer, she’s back in Oxford, either spending time with her mom, Julie, and little brother, Dylan, or wearing a powder blue jersey at Swayze Field, cheering on the Rebs.
