Matthew A. Brennan, III
Mr. Brennan’s law practice is dedicated to serving the needs of businesses, both large and small, and includes business sales and acquisitions, general civil litigation, business counseling, debtor/creditor law, business formation and receivables collection. Mr. Brennan's professional experience includes complex commercial litigation and intensive bankruptcy experience.
Mr. Brennan was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but spent the major part of his youth in Dallas, Texas and Roanoke, Virginia. Mr. Brennan was drafted into the United States Army where he was trained as a medical corpsman with field units of the 25th Infantry Division. While serving in Vietnam, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for Heroism in combat.
Mr. Brennan is active within his community. He has been a member of the Vienna Rotary Club since 1995. He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Fairfax and has been involved in that organization since that time (including serving on its Board and as Board Chair). Finally, he has been deeply involved in the work of the Vienna Regional Chamber and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce (including serving on its Board and as Board Chair). His prior firm, Brennan & Waite, P.L.C., was the Small Business Best of Reston Honoree for 2014.
Mr. Brennan graduated from University of Virginia law school He is admitted to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
