Melissa R. Chandy
Martin, Banks, Pond, Lehocky & WilsonI earned my law degree in 2006 from The Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, I was a member of the Minority Law Students Association and the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. I was also a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Prior to attending law school, I received my Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2003 from the University of Toronto. In September of 2007, I joined Martin, Banks, Pond, Lehocky & Wilson, where I focused my practice of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law on the defense of injured workers. In July of 2010, I joined Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano, where I continue to focus exclusively on Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law. In 2012, I earned the title of Senior Associate at Pond Lehocky. Additionally,I act as Manager of the Brief Writing Department. In this role, I oversee all operations involved with brief writing for the Firm, use my knowledge to train and teach new associates the brief writing processes, assigns briefs to fellow associates, and help facilitate completion of briefs. I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I am also an active member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, as well as an active member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. I regularly act as a contributing writer for the ‘Case Notes’ section of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s publication PAJ News. Additionally, I have been chosen to the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list since 2010.
