Michael C. Barrows is a seasoned attorney who specializes in all areas of matrimonial law, from trial to appellate levels. His practice has a strong focus on complex contested divorce litigation. Mr. Barrows is equally adept in representing clients in uncontested divorce matters, divorce mediation, and the negotiation of separation and pre-nuptial agreements.
In addition to his matrimonial law practice, Mr. Barrows has extensive experience as a trial attorney and appellate advocate, successfully handling complex civil, criminal, and commercial cases on behalf of clients across New York City, including Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and Nassau and Suffolk Counties in Long Island.
Mr. Barrows’ commercial litigation experience covers both state and federal matters, including breach of contract, shareholder disputes, fraud and fraudulent inducement, mismanagement, theft, unlawful transfer of assets, breach of fiduciary duty, employer/employee disputes, and commercial collections.
