My Firm concentrates in family law – Divorce, Paternity, Custody, and Prenuptial Agreements – consumer bankruptcy and real estate law, Foreclosure Defense and other real estate litigation - we have a title agency, engage in short sale negotiations --- I have highly skilled attorneys in each area --- we work together as a team. - Q. I am divorced, and my name is on the lease of the apartment my x lives with kids, can i still enter the property
- A: The short answer to your question is no, you have no legal right to re-enter the property. In the event your former husband would agree to allow you to re-enter, then you could, but not otherwise. Good luck
- Q. In Florida, are you able to claim half of spouse's inheritance if their parent passes away while still married?
- A: No. So long as your spouse does not comingle the inheritance with any marital property, an inheritance is non-marital.
- Q. My wife and I are getting a divorce she's making me high a second mortgage that's for her in what I agreef to pay her.
