Mr. Joseph Hankins
Hankins Law, LLCI founded Hankins Law after working in the Washington, D.C. area as an attorney for a well-respected, litigation-focused law firm. While in D.C., I handled complex proceedings, which often required the interpretation of complicated business and estate planning documents. During my practice, I consistently observed a need in the legal field for accessible attorneys offering individualized counsel and real-world options to resolve legal issues. Legal problems are unique, and solutions must be tailored to each specific issue. With this in mind, I founded Hankins Law. I can assure any prospective client that I will take the time to ensure that he or she understands how the law affects that particular legal situation, thus enabling him or her to make a fully informed decision. A bit about my background: I grew up in Jacksonville, Illinois, a small, farming community in Central Illinois. After graduating from Truman State University, a liberal arts college in Kirksville, Missouri, I moved to Arlington, Virginia, to attend George Mason University School of Law, where I met my wife, Jackie, who grew up in the Indianapolis area. Jackie and I have a young son, and we are thrilled to be able to raise him in the Midwest.
