Also streamlined adjudication of these cases by negotiating time limits for underinsurers to pursue collection activities. Mounted and prevailed in the first challenge to the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles’ directives and procedures in OUI hearings, which led to the Registry modifying them. By working through the U.S. military justice system as well as N.H. Probate Court, secured the first-ever appointment of a guardian ad litem for the children of a totally incapacitated veteran against the wishes of their mother. Obtained cooperation of numerous senior military officers and staff, including members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Authored a Collection Policy and Procedures Manual for a local bank that was approved by the Massachusetts Banking Commissioner and is still in use. Became exclusive counsel for the $1 Billion Raytheon Employee Disability Trust after reducing the nearly 3-year average delay in adjudicating disability cases to less than 2 months by turning such cases into contract disputes handled at the state level, thus avoiding federal ERISA involvement. To date have handled 700 such cases, winning 100% of tried cases. First North Shore attorney to develop a comprehensive marketing program, which contributed to the firm’s growth for 16 years. Created and instructed seminars for the following clients on “Third Party Collection Techniques: Collecting Your Outstanding Receivables” :
