Mr. Michael Thomas Muha

The great-grandson of Eastern European immigrants, Michael takes great pride in being the first attorney in both his mother and his father's sides of his family.

Born and raised in Mercer County, Michael T. Muha came home after years of schooling to make a difference to the area he loves, Western Pennsylvania.

Attorney Muha was born in Greenville, raised in Hermitage, and was educated in the schools of the Hermitage School District, where he became the first Academic Games Leagues of America National Champion in Hickory High School history, winning a National Title in the game World Events in his sophomore year at Kissimmee, Florida.

After graduating from Hickory in 2002, Michael attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. In 2006, Michael attended The American University, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in Political Science - American Politics. In 2011, Michael earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.

Michael is also a tireless advocate for suicide prevention and childhood mental illness, volunteering for suicide prevention organizations in Northeast Ohio as well as giving talks to local high school students about suicide, bullying, drug abuse, and how to combat them.

Michael also fights for the liberalization of election administration laws in Pennsylvania, including the repeal of the Voter ID bill and the support of legislation that would create early voting, online voter registration, same-day voter registration, and no-excuse absentee balloting.

Michael lives in Hermitage.
