Norman F. Taylor is the author of the book Lemon Law: The Standard Reference Guide.
He studied engineering at Arizona State University as an undergraduate and attended Glendale School of Law. In 1986 he graduated and passed the Bar exam. He immediately began developing a consumer warranty litigation practice representing consumers with defective products ranging from the low end auto to the high end Rolls Royce, recreation vehicle and motorcycles etc. His expertise in the area of Lemon Law has been recognized by auto manufacturers in their own publications since 1990, and his reputation led an invitation by the California Judicial Council to assist in creating standardized jury instructions for all lemon law cases in California in 2004.
He co-authored the first book on California Lemon Law entitled: Lemon Law A Manual for Consumers. He authored his second publication on lemon law entitled Lemon Law: The Standard Reference Guide, which has been distributed and recognized in many states.
Over the past 25 years plus, his firms have represented over 10,000 cases, forcing vehicle manufacturers to refund or replace well over $100,000,000 for the defective products.
In recent years the firm has broadened its areas of expertise to Elder Abuse, Medical Malpractice and select Personal Injury cases.
In addition to advocating consumer rights as a profession, Mr. Taylor is a representative of the Los Angeles chapter of the Foundation for a Drug Free World. He is a certified Drug Prevention Specialist influencing and supporting others to make positive, drug-free choices, as well as working cooperatively with schools, churches and other groups in the field of education to the young and old alike in need of the truth about drugs.
