Pablo Tagre
In founding the Tagre Law Office, Pablo A. Tagre drew from years of experience working as an attorney at prominent California law firms in order to provide his clients the quality of service they would expect from a larger operation at a more affordable cost than could be found at an overhead-intensive firm.
Mr. Tagre has extensive experience helping small, medium, and large businesses with all areas of their operation – from initial business start-up, including incorporation, LLC formation, and partnership formation, to everyday concerns, such as contract negotiation, employment matters, owner disputes, litigation, corporate maintenance/annual meetings, and more.
Mr. Tagre also has over seven years of experience in education law, including special education due process litigation. Mr. Tagre began his career working for two prominent Southern California education law firms defending school districts throughout the state in employment litigation, labor negotiations, layoff proceedings, and special education matters. Pablo was surprised to learn after moving his practice to Modesto, California that parents of special needs children had few local legal resources to choose from. Mr. Tagre now exclusively helps parents of special education students understand this complex area of law, negotiate with school districts throughout the IEP process, and represent children’s interests in due process hearings if school districts refuse to provide necessary services.
Prior to being admitted to the California State Bar, Mr. Tagre worked for the Enforcement Division of the Securities & Exchange Commission in New York City where he helped investigate and prosecute cases involving the fraudulent sale and price manipulation of securities. Pablo Tagre also served in the California State Senate Fellow’s program as a Legislative Aide to California’s 24th Senate District, where he helped shepherd a variety of legislative measures, and in the Library of Congress as a Hispanic Division Esteban Torres Fellow.
When not working or spending time with his family, Mr. Tagre enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing/Muy Thai, hiking in and around Yosemite National Park, and Cycling.
