Paige is a compassionate, passionate lawyer who is driven by her committment to justice.
As a former staff attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, Paige handled serious felony cases involving both adults and juveniles. Her caseload primarily consisted of serious offenses related to narcoticics, firearms, assualts, and theft. Paige served as lead counsel in a juvenile murder case and co-counsel in a double homicide case. She successfully litigated several preliminary hearings, leading to no probable cause findings and subsequent dismissals, with several cases involving videotaped evidence. Additionally, Paige addressed the horrific conditions at the DC jail through her litigation efforts.
In New York City, Paige worked as a public defender, trying several cases ranging from drug possession and sales to sex abuse and assault. She thoroughly explored her clients' lives to gather mitigating information, aiming for rehabilitative rather than punitive dispositions. Paige also wrote extensive legal motions, tackling nuanced and complex criminal law issues.
Paige currently serves as Of-Counsel with Ben Crump Law working with Attorney Crump to advocate for victims of police bruality, police misconduct, and against predatory companies.
During law school, Paige was actively involved in various organizations. She earned a spot on the University of Florida Trial Team and was the only woman to be named a Final Four Advocate in 2014.
Paige's professional experience includes internships with the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson's office on Capitol Hill, and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.
She graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology. During her college years, Elizabeth was a Division 1 athlete on the track and field team and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
