Patricia Brandt
The Employee’s Law Firm
At Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm, Patricia A. Brandt serves as a Partner, specializing in employment law. Her unique background includes a distinguished career in law enforcement prior to entering the legal profession. In Louisiana, Patricia broke ground as the first woman to join the parish SWAT team during her tenure at the sheriff's office. Her expertise led to her selection for the FBI Instructor Development Course, granting her the authority to teach any subject within the state's police training curriculum. Her responsibilities encompassed maintaining interior perimeters during operations and instructing officers in various disciplines, including firearms, less-lethal weapons, and hand-to-hand combat techniques.
Patricia earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Louisiana in 2018. During her legal studies, she gained invaluable experience through an internship with the public defender's office and as a law clerk for the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Louisiana. Following her graduation, Patricia relocated to Ohio, where she successfully passed the state's Bar Exam and established her own private practice, serving clients in the Cleveland area.
Upon joining Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm, Patricia has continued to advocate for clients, concentrating her practice on employment law matters. In addition to her legal career, Patricia maintains her connection to law enforcement as a deputy marshal in the training and grant writing division. In her free time, she shares her expertise by teaching concealed carry classes and self-defense techniques.
