Biography

I am a unique Illinois lawyer who represents individuals, consumers and small business owners. I have two office locations to better serve you--one in downtown Chicago and one just outside Peoria. If you have been seriously injured, physically or monetarily I am here to help you. I handle sexual harassment cases as well as personal injury cases, including wrongful death cases, throughout the state of Illinois. I can help you through the complex legal system. My priority is client satisfaction. Unlike most attorneys I am available seven days a week and can work around your schedule.

I am a former Green Beret with the 10th Special Forces Group, 1st Special Operations Command and I am familiar with the needs of servicemen and servicewomen.

I will provide you with personal attention and access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I will rapidly move your case along and recognize that you may want to potentially resolve your case quickly. I also have the resources and experience to take your case to trial if necessary.

Legal Answers
Q. In the state of Illinois. Do I have to return a Promise Ring to an exboyfrien?
A: I agree it is a gift, but if he doesn't have clean title to the gift, he didn't own it outright to give it to you--so technically the store owns it not you. So if he stops making payments the store could ask for it back. It would be no different than if he purchases a car or house and was making payments and give it to you as a gift--if he stopped paying the bank, the bank would own it and take possession.
Q. I received a call from an IT company . Demanding payment. Can they do this?
A: It would depend on the terms of the agreement you signed. And it would also depend on how they were taking payment from you and if they can prove you were given services or the services were available to you during that time. You should seek an attorney to review your agreement--pay the hourly rate of the attorney and get a better understanding.
Q. I need probono services for divorce/family law.
A: Even though you may not have money up front for an attorney's fees, if you hire an attorney he or she may be able to collect attorney fees from your husband through court order. You should check with local attorneys who handle divorce cases.
