Philip Depew
Attorney Philip Depew is an associate with Depew Law Firm in Neodesha, Kansas and a Neodesha native. He graduated with departmental honors from the University of Kansas in 2015 with a B.G.S. degree majoring in Psychology with minors in Business and Classical Antiquity.
In 2020, Philip graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University School of Law. While in law school, Philip was accepted into the Dane G. Hansen Foundation Summer Externship program and spent the summer of 2018 working with attorney Chris Rohr in Colby, Kansas on a variety of civil and criminal legal matters. Philip was awarded the Hon. Richard D. and Cindy Rogers Scholarship by the Kansas Bar Foundation while in law school. He worked during the fall semester of 2019 in the Washburn Law School Legal Clinic program gaining real world experience helping people with legal issues under the guidance of law clinic faculty and a Kansas Bar licensed supervisor. During his last semester in law school, Philip worked in the Kansas Revisor of Statutes Office as a Legislative Fellow. Philip is a member of the Kansas Bar Association as well as the Wilson County Kansas Bar Association.
At Depew Law Firm, Philip has handled bankruptcy, criminal law, family law, traffic and trust matters.
Philip enjoys fly fishing, growing a very wide variety of peppers, international travel and following the Kansas City Chiefs.
