Rachel Andersen
I am an attorney at Northwest Law in Columbus, Ohio, where my practice is centered around real estate matters, probate administration, and estate planning. With over two decades of experience in the title, escrow, and real estate sectors, I offer a comprehensive perspective to my legal practice, enabling clients to handle complex transactions with assurance.
Prior to my legal career, I developed my professional skills in the title and escrow industry, where I managed teams and operations, and gained a deep understanding of real estate transactions. This background equips me to offer strategic, practical advice to a diverse clientele, including individuals, families, and businesses.
I received my Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Capital University Law School, where I was a member of the Capital University Law Review and conducted research on exclusionary zoning practices across the U.S. My research has been published, demonstrating my dedication to legal scholarship and advocacy. Before attending law school, I graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Organizational Management from Point Loma Nazarene University.
I actively participate in the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and American Bar Association, and I contribute to the Ohio State Bar Association Real Estate Section Planning Committee. I am also committed to community service, volunteering with the Christian Legal Society Columbus and the Legal Aid Society of Columbus (LASC).
Outside of my legal practice, I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, or spending quality time with family and friends.
