Rachel Sternlieb
Rachel A. Sternlieb represents both businesses and individuals in commercial, civil litigation, and bankruptcy matters. Her experience includes both complex commercial and civil litigation, multidistrict litigation and class actions, products liability, contractual disputes, and general business matters.
Before relocating to Denver in 2016, Rachel practiced for three years in New Orleans, Louisiana where she successfully represented individuals in matters ranging from medical malpractice, products liability, catastrophic injury, mass tort litigation and class actions throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. She has significant litigation experience in both state and federal court.
Rachel had the distinct privilege of serving as a member of the trial and discovery teams in the Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Multidistrict Litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. As part of the trial team, she vigorously advocated on behalf of thousands of homeowners who suffered property damages as a result of defective Chinese-manufactured drywall installation in their homes following the aftermath and devastation of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
From 2014 through 2016, Rachel had the honor of being a part of the Board of Directors for Traveler’s Aid Society of Greater New Orleans, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating homelessness. In August 2015, Rachel was recognized by New Orleans City Business as “Ones to Watch in Law.”
Upon earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2010, Rachel went on to earn her Juris Doctorate in 2013 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While in law school, Rachel served as Articles Editor of Loyola’s Journal of Public Interest Law and was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jay C. Zainey in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
