She is committed to providing her clients with the legal services they need and prioritizes continuing legal education to help her better serve her clients. That is why Rebecca was recognized by the Kentucky Bar Association in 2015 and given an award for her efforts.
Born and raised in Berea, Kentucky on her family’s farm, she grew up working on the farm with her large family. This experience instilled the importance of hard work at an early age, one of the many family values she still embraces in her practice of the law.
Rebecca actively raised, trained, and showed Tennessee Walking Horses for years and still enjoys riding today. She has been an active member of the Humane Society for over 10 years and is a dedicated participant in community service activities and events.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2009. Then received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2013. She was licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky in 2013. Prior to opening Hurst & Hurst Law, Rebecca worked with the United States Attorney’s Office and clerked for the Kentucky Supreme Court with Justice Noble.
Rebecca has been practicing law in Danville, Harrodsburg and the surrounding communities since she was licensed to practice in 2013. She specializes in family law (divorces, custody disputes, paternity, etc.), bankruptcy law and representing individuals hurt in personal injury accidents (car wrecks, slip and falls, trucking accidents, etc.).
