Rebecca R. Sternbach
Rebecca Sternbach joined Lonich & Patton in January 2013. Rebecca supports all major practice areas of the firm, with a special interest in Family Law matters. Rebecca grew up in Menlo Park and attended Saint Francis High School. While attending Pomona College, Rebecca was named a Pomona College Scholar, a distinction awarded to the top quarter of each class. In 2004, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Rebecca returned to the Bay Area to attend law school, and graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2012. During law school, Rebecca served as a Senior Staff Member on the Law Review and achieved membership in the McAuliffe Law Honor Society for distinguished academic achievement. She also received the privilege of being selected as Case Counsel for the Moot Court program where she assisted the Legal Writing Professors in developing and administering the first year oral advocacy exercise. Additionally, she externed for the Honorable William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. After law school, Rebecca worked at the family law self-help center in San Francisco, assisting litigants in navigating all stages of dissolution, child custody, visitation and support. She also served as a Volunteer Attorney at the San Francisco Unified Family Court. Rebecca was admitted to the California Bar in December 2012.
