Richard B Vincent
RICHARD B. VINCENT is a partner in the law firm of Vincent, Romeo & Rodriguez, LLC. His practice emphasizes the legal problems of the elderly and disabled, including legal issues related to establishing and maintaining eligibility for Medicaid and other public benefit programs, trust and estate planning, estate administration, conservatorships and guardianships, disability planning through use of durable powers of attorney and special needs trusts, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, VA benefits and retirement. Mr. Vincent graduated from the University of Michigan with honors in 1977. In 1983, he received his law degree and MBA from the University of Denver. Mr. Vincent was also awarded a Certificate in Gerontology by the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work in 1996.
Mr. Vincent is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. He has been designated as a Super Lawyer for the past 5 years. He is a former staff volunteer for Denver Legal Aid and the Denver County Adult Protection Division and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (“NAELA”) and the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Mr. Vincent is a past chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee, former editor of the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association Probate and Trust Law Section newsletter and a contributing author to The Colorado Handbook of Elder Law. He is a frequent lecturer on long-term care Medicaid planning, special needs trusts and other topics affecting the disabled and their families.
