Richard Jones
Helgesen, Houtz & Jones
Richard W. Jones graduated with his B.A. degree from BYU in 1979. He continued on to receive his J.D. Law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU in 1982. He began his career as an attorney in Ogden, Utah working for the law firm now called Helgesen, Houtz & Jones.
Mr. Jones has specialized his practice around real estate law. He is one of the best choices in Utah for Homeowners Association law and Condominium Association Law. He has been giving seminars for the Utah Condominium and Homeowners Association since 1991.
He is the President of the Utah Condominium and Homeowners Association. He has been doing this for many years and enjoys helping associations settle their disputes preferably away from the courtroom. He is also a member of the Community Associations Institute and the American Inns of Court.
Rich and his wife currently reside in Davis County. They have 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. His oldest son will be graduating law school from J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU in 2013 and will be joining him at Helgesen, Houtz & Jones as an attorney.
As a family they enjoy spending time together and helping others. They have participated in humanitarian projects in Kenya, Peru and Guatemala. He says that these experiences are life changing.
