Richard B. Newman is an FTC marketing compliance and regulatory defense attorney at Hinch Newman LLP focusing on advertising and digital media matters. His practice includes conducting legal compliance reviews of advertising campaigns, representing clients in investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general, commercial litigation, advising clients on promotional marketing programs, and negotiating and drafting legal agreements. Richard is currently admitted to practice law in California, New York, Nevada, the District of Columbia, and before the United States District Court for the Districts of Northern, Central and Southern California, the Southern District of New York and the District of Nevada. Richard is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Performance Marketing Association.
