Robert H. Harrison, Jr. of the Harrison Law Firm is a lifelong resident of Livingston Parish. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, where he was selected for the Louisiana Law Review, was a Flory Trial winner and was a member to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Following law school, Mr. Harrison was a law clerk for the Hon. J. Michael McDonald of the 19th Judicial District Court. Mr. Harrison is a former partner in the firm of Stanley & Harrison in Baton Rouge. In 1992, he founded the Harrison Law Firm. His areas of practice include all areas of real estate, successions, estate planning, general litigation, commercial law, personal injury and small class action litigation. His clients have ranged from indigents and abused children to Fortune 500 corporations. He has spoken previously on topics related to his areas of expertise.
Mr. Harrison is a member of the Louisiana State, Livingston Parish (past president) and 21st Judicial District bar associations. He is active in community affairs, including over 17 years as a volunteer leader with the Boy Scouts of America. Robert and his wife Jo Ann are the parents of three sons, Tyler, Matthew and Joel.
