- For this Seminar, I wrote a paper and presented on Intoxilyzer 5000. I actually brought an Intoxilyzer 5000 to the Seminar and demonstrated the points raised in my paper. Further, the State of Kansas was going to start phasing out the Intoxilyzer 5000, and replacing it across the State with the Intoxilyzer 8000 over the next two years. My paper and presentation also discussed the problems inherent in that machines readings.
